Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the Radien platform, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use Radien. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Radien.

2. The service

Radien provides internet radio infrastructure — including a broadcasting API, JavaScript SDK, and dashboard — that allows you to stream audio to listeners over the internet. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Your account

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your account credentials secure, including your stream key
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Ensuring that anyone you invite to your team complies with these terms

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Radien to stream:

• Content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights, including music you are not licensed to broadcast
• Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, or obscene
• Content that promotes violence, discrimination, or illegal activity
• Malware, spam, or any form of automated abuse

You are solely responsible for ensuring you hold any necessary licences to publicly broadcast the content you stream (including music performance and broadcasting licences where applicable in your jurisdiction).

5. Billing and payment

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. You authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. If payment fails, we may suspend your account. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. You may cancel at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.

6. Listener limits

Each plan includes a maximum number of concurrent listeners. If your stream exceeds your plan limit, the newest listeners above the limit will be disconnected. We will not charge overage fees — you will need to upgrade your plan to increase your limit.

7. Uptime and reliability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. SLA guarantees apply only to the Network plan and are governed by a separate agreement.

8. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the content you stream. By using Radien, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to transmit your content solely for the purpose of operating the service. We claim no ownership over your broadcasts or audio content.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that could harm other users or the platform. You may close your account at any time from your dashboard settings.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Radien is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of revenue from downtime or lost broadcasts. Our total liability to you in any month shall not exceed the fees you paid us in that month.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of Radien after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
